    Christopher Wierer is a New York & Los Angeles based designer and innovator, and founder of The Sycamore Collective, a bespoke design studio. For over 20 years he has strived to improve the built environment employing a multi-scalar approach merging global, inspirational goals with local, place-specific design sensibilities. He seamlessly partners with clients ranging from globally renowned brands, local emerging startups, and individuals designing their private sanctuaries.

    A frequent speaker at international industry events, he is proud of his collaboration with some of the worlds foremost design and architecture firms. A few key, award winning projects include Century City and LAX in Los Angeles, the multidisciplinary San Francisco Centre, Southcenter in Seattle, and the World Trade Center retail in New York. His body of work bridges retail, restaurant, airport, pop-up, hospitality, master planning, residential, museum/exhibit, and workplace design.

    Christopher holds his post-professional Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University’s GSAPP and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Sustainable Urban Development at the University of Oxford. He completed his professional Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Science in STS and Building Science degrees at Rensselaer, during which he furthered his studies at Tongji University in Shanghai and the Czech Technical University in Prague. He divides his time between LA, NY, and Oxford.
